2. please remember that MONDAY, 7 MARCH is a public holiday. The normal schedule of classes will be canceled and there will ONLY be a LED CLASS at 10am. Please arrive 10 minutes early, so that we can start on time. if you can’t usually attend the led classes on friday evenings or sunday mornings, try to take the opportunity to come to the led classes offered on public holidays, as it will help refine your practice and vinyasas.

3. on SATURDAY, 12 MARCH, from 10am – 12pm, we will be holding a benefit class of 108 sun salutations to help odanadi, an organization based in mysore, india that works with getting women and children out of the sex trade and to stop human trafficking. this is the second annual world-wide event with many ashtanga shalas participating on the same day to raise money for this cause and to spread awareness of this issue. you will be receiving more information about this soon and i hope that you will be able to participate!

4. there will be a zen meditation intensive with laia monserrat on SUNDAY, 13 MARCH, from 4pm – 8pm. i will send you more information about this workshop soon. please let me know if you would like to attend as space is limited.

5. on SATURDAY, 26 MARCH, there will be spring cleansing yin yoga workshop from 11am – 1:30pm with kathy paez. you will receive more information about this workshop closer to the date.

6. recently, we have had some complaints from a neighbor in the building. please do not force the street-level door open to enter. ring the buzzer, and we will let you in. please respect that there are families living in the building who are concerned about the safety of their home and personal belongings and do not wish for the general public to see that this door can be forced open simply by pushing it. thank you!

take care and i hope to see you soon in class! with gratitude... much love and peace... namaste, hojung.
