december news 2012

during autumn and winter when there is less light and as it gets colder. it is natural for the body and being to go into a more contractive state. please be aware of your internal changes and practice accordingly. the dynamic nature of the ashtanga practice helps us to generate heat and cultivate our inner fire and a feeling of expansiveness during these upcoming cold months… here is the december news:

1. please note that the moon days this month are: THURSDAY, 13 DECEMBER, and FRIDAY, 28 DECEMBER. there will be NO class on these days.  

2. also, please take into account that THURSDAY, 6 DECEMBER is a public holiday and the normal class schedule will be canceled. there will ONLY be a LED CLASS at 10am (please arrive 10 minutes early).
 
3. the shala will be OPEN with its REGULAR SCHEDULE until SUNDAY, 23 DECEMBER. 
 
4. we will be CLOSED from MONDAY EVENING, 24 DECEMBER until WEDNESDAY, 2 JANUARY. please note that on MONDAY, 24 DECEMBER, we will ONLY be offering a LED CLASS at 10am (please arrive 10 minutes early).

5. depending on what your holiday plans are, you may pay for your december classes accordingly: single classes at 12 euros each; 4 class pack = 44 euros; 5-class pack = 50 euros; 2 classes/ week (8 classes/month) = 60 euros; 3 classes/week (12 classes/month) = 75 euros; or unlimited classes = 90 euros. please remember that these monthly rates are non-refundable and that it is your responsibility to use the classes within the same month.

6. during these cold months, when entering and exiting the shala, please close the door well (WITHOUT LOCKING IT) as to keep the warm air in and cold air out… likewise, the doors to the practice room should always be kept closed in order to retain the heat. thank you!

7. the holidays are approaching and if you are thinking of some gift ideas, we have the following items available:
cotton yoga mats = 20 euros
yoga mat bags = 20 euros
a book about the zen practice, written by laia monserrat = 10 euros
